STW84V current relay (8-channel extraction controller)
The ZIEHL STW84V is an advanced eight-channel controller for extraction systems. It detects active machines through current transformers, current sensors or potential-free contacts and controls dampers, extraction and auxiliary functions accordingly.
The eight inputs are evaluated individually. In addition to relay outputs, an analogue output with 0–10 V or 4–20 mA is available. This allows functions such as filter cleaning, discharge and volume-flow monitoring to be integrated. The supply is 24–270 V AC/DC, with installation in a control cabinet or distribution panel.
The STW84V is intended for more comprehensive extraction controls. Unlike the STW81V, it adds an analogue signal and the stated extended system functions to channel-specific relay control. When using STWA1 detection, one current transformer is required per machine.
