What is a hose coupling in an industrial extraction system?
A hose coupling connects an extraction hose to another hose or to a component such as a flap valve. It provides a detachable connection for extracting dust and other suitable materials from machines and workstations. A suitable coupling makes it easier to change hoses or connect extraction equipment at different locations.

How do I choose the right hose coupling size?
Check both connection dimensions: the nominal size on the valve side and the hose diameter on the other side. Depending on the model, WELAfix couplings cover nominal sizes from 50 to 108 mm and hose diameters from 28 to 100 mm. Before ordering, compare both dimensions and the connection type with the specifications of the individual product.
