Cyclone separators – pre-separation of chips and dust
A cyclone separator uses centrifugal force to separate chips and dust from the airflow before it reaches the downstream filter. This reduces the load on the filter, which can extend its service life and reduce the maintenance requirements of the extraction system. Why do I need a cyclone separator?

Is a cyclone separator worthwhile for fine dust?
A cyclone separator can also be useful as a pre-separator for dust-laden airflows containing fine particles. However, its efficiency in separating fine particles depends on its design and the particle size distribution. Depending on the application, a suitable downstream filter is required to reliably capture the remaining fine particles.
